You’re invited to apply for Periscope: Rural Artist Development!

We’re excited to invite you to apply for the first-ever cohort of a new professional development opportunity for rural Tennessee artists hosted by the Arts & Business Council and supported by funding from the Tennessee Arts Commission.

Periscope: Rural Artist Development (RAD) is an intensive, online training and mentorship program uniquely designed to be a transformative experience empowering rural artists with the entrepreneurial skills to help them thrive.

Periscope RAD artists receive:
• Training: 8 weeks of professional development training customized for artists living in *rural counties;
• Exchange: Artists share best practices with interdisciplinary peers through small group work;
• Mentorship: Each artist is paired one-on-one with a high-caliber mentor for six months;
• Exposure: Year-round opportunities to celebrate the work of alumni artists through the Arts & Business Council and Tennessee Arts Commission.
• Free Tuition: The program fee is waived due to the generous support of the Tennessee Arts Commission.

HOW TO APPLY This program is only available to artists living and working in *Rural Counties in TN (see below).
